Profit Builder - Mobile View Text is too Large
Posted by Linda Lou on 17 February 2016 02:17 PM
You can typically solve this by reducing the font size and adjusting the line height. Usually, 35px works, and it looks fine on a Nexus 5. Here's how to do this: https://imsuccesscenter.com/customercare/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/216/23/profit-builder---how-to-edit-text-on-mobile-view
You'll also want to do the following, just to be safe:
1. Please back your site up, delete Profit Builder and Profit Builder Theme download a fresh copy from your member area, installing it either via FTP or the Wordpress dashboard. Not only does this ensure you have the latest versions, this also ensures that you don't have a bad installation. You won't lose data by doing this.
2. Once this is done, please go to https://imsuccesscenter.com/customercare/index.php?/News/NewsItem/View/7/trouble-shooting and read the post dated Jan. 29, titled "Trouble Shooting" which provides a step-by-step procedure to check for plugin conflicts.
3. You can also raise the amount of memory Profit Builder uses to 256 MB as here: https://imsuccesscenter.com/customercare/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/435/23/profit-builder---how-to-setup-memory-limit
Additionally, you can have your host set your site memory limits in your php.ini or user.ini file:
Most important part is memory_limit = 256M, they can set it to higher to resolve your issue.
4. Another check would be to install Profit Builder and the theme into their own sub-directory with their own database and WordPress installation and create a page to see if you have the same issue (do not install any other plugins, apart from the Visual Icon Font plugin required by Profit Builder Theme). Here's a video on how to do this, it references Rapid Mailer, but the process is the same: https://imsuccesscenter.com/customercare/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/132/24/rapid-mailer---how-to-install-in-a-sub-directory
