The Genius of Webinars Part 2

To stage a webinar successfully, and make money from it, you will need to have some great subject matter. Many people assume they cannot put a webinar together, because they simply do not know enough about the subject. This is easy to get round, because you can put together a webinar where you simply interview an expert in the niche. Say for example you wanted to get 100 people together for a webinar, which would last approximately 30 minutes. If you were interviewing two people who are huge in the traffic generation arena, each for 15 minutes, and you charged just a few dollars to access the webinar – you would easily fill your quota, pay for the interviews (which you could possibly get free anyway) and you needn’t even know anything about traffic generation. Just simply arrange for some questions to be asked, and let the experts do the talking. Afterward, the questions & answer session could be put to you, and you can then forward the questions to the experts as part of the deal.

The limits in webinars are your imagination. If you wish to go down the route of being a solo webinar host, and do it all yourself, then you just need to seriously research the niche, or present something that you know a lot about. You can then answer questions directly, and this will make for a much better presentation.

You must ensure you have lots of good presentation aids for the webinar, of course. Presentations on Powerpoint or Open Office Impress are easy to put together, and you can display these to the participants easily via the software. Again, the webcam preview method is great, because it makes the whole thing much more professional and interactive.

There are a few things to remember when you are presenting, and that is to ensure you are detailed in everything you talk about, and speak clearly throughout. Have lots of notes written down, and you will not stray too far from the subject. You don’t even have to be particularly good on camera, as long as your personality shows through. A few laughs along the way will also help. People like Frank Kern do more laughing than talking on their videos sometimes – and look how many people warm to him instantly on camera.

Webinars are only as difficult as you want to make them, so hopefully this 2 part series has given you some insight into how you can put one together quickly and professionally.
