Generally, secret methods and unique methods are well received in the Internet Marketing community. A little originality goes a hell of a long way, and was recently proven to me when I saw a product about QR codes being sold on the Warrior Forum.
This is a RED hot product right now, but is not being grasped by most of the online marketers, due to it having a bit of offline requirement. I think this is a shame, when a really good and unique product gets overlooked because of a little work being involved.
Anyway, back on topic, secret methods are really few and far between. How many products on your hard drive right now contain some similar content from other products you own?
The truth is, the Internet is the worst offender for rehashed or even outright copied content. However, when a savvy marketer actually takes a few different concepts, and twists them to create an extremely clever way to double the power of the techniques – then you should sit up and take notice.
Most products that combine a couple or more methods will have you slapping your forehead, because its such a simple thing to do, and of course it works. Take two products, both in social media (Facebook and Twitter). If both of the techniques work, they are in the same genre, AND they are compatible – then there’s no reason why it would not work, splicing the two.
I recently saw a product that had Twitter users linked to Facebook, then to a blog. Each step of the way, a little more of the full picture was revealed. The marketer achieves three forms of traffic in one go.
So, if you are looking at making a product that can go pretty crazy, you should look at the techniques you are using or learning about. Now, see how you can splice them, and create your own “secret method”!
