Be Able To Sum Up Your Brand in 3 Sentences or Less

Every single day, thousands of new websites are launched with the aspiration of building a successful online business. Regardless of what niche you choose, there WILL be competition.

These competitors have what you WANT; traffic, subscribers, and conversions.

With so many competitors fighting over the same revenue, how do you ensure that you get a bigger piece of the pie? The secret is to create a brand – a position – in the marketplace that is not only different, but is one that people remember.

Far too often I come across aspiring entrepreneurs that have created a killer website and an outstanding product, the only problem is, they are completely generic. Nothing about their brand stands out.

Their website quickly becomes “just another site” about internet marketing, weight loss, or celebrity gossip. What is going to set you apart from everyone else?

This is why I use the basic strategy of having clients sum up their brand in 3 sentences or less. If they can describe their brand in a way that is unique, then they may be on to something. If it sounds unoriginal, then they need to go back to the drawing board until they can come up with something better.

The vast majority of site owners WON’T be able to do this because there is NOTHING that differentiates their brand from their competitors, which is why SO many new businesses fail miserably.

In order to become successful, you will need to be known for SOMETHING, and these 3 sentences are where it starts.

Once you’ve carefully crafted a unique position within your market, you’ll need to drive this into the mind of EVERY person that you come into contact from here on out.

This is what successful marketers do to shape the view of their subscribers and everyone within their niche. You see, business is more than just having an outstanding product, it’s about how potential consumers perceive your brand.

Unless you can explain your online identity in 3 sentences or less, you are dead in the water before you even start. So many new marketers fail to realize this, which is why they quickly fade away into obscurity.

Analytics provide the roadmap to internet marketing success. I’m not a mind reader and neither are you, but with the help of our analytics, we can gain insight into what our potential consumers and competitors are thinking.

With What Runs Where, you can see exactly what your competitor’s ads look like and where they are running them.

Literally every platform we use has some sort of analytics built into it; auto responders, Facebook, Clikbank, EVERYTHING

The sky is the limit to what you can do. With all of this information literally at your fingertips, there should be no reason why you can’t grow your business based on your findings…unless you’re like most people, and ignore your analytics completely.

There are so many ways to succeed with the help of your analytics;

  • Reverse engineer your competitors. Find what’s working for them, duplicate it, and then improve it so that it’s even more enticing to your viewers.
  • Find what works for you and simply repeat it.
  • Have an idea? Split test to find what works best.

It’s possible that many people simply don’t know how to use their analytics to their advantage, but if the difference between living an exciting, financially free life and being stuck in a dead end 9-5 job is simply learning how to use your analytics properly, you’d assume that more people would be spending their time learning the ins and outs instead of purchasing the next cool “Make $10,000 in your first 3 days” program.
