To organize or attend an online meeting, webinar or training session, the following is required:
For PC-based participants:
* Internet Explorer® 7.0 or newer, Mozilla® Firefox® 3.0 or newer or Google™ Chrome™ 5.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)

* Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server
* Cable modem, DSL, or better Internet connection (Dial-up is not fast enough for video)
* Minimum of Pentium® class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (recommended) (2 GB of RAM for Windows® Vista)
For Mac®-based participants:
* Safari™ 3.0 or newer, Firefox® 3.0 or newer or Google™ Chrome™ 5.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
* Mac OS® X 10.4.11 – Tiger® or newer
* Flash version 10 or newer
* Speakers enabled to hear audio
* PowerPC G4/G5 or Intel processor (512 MB of RAM or better recommended)
* Cable modem, DSL, or better Internet connection (Dial-up is not fast enough for video)
IMSC makes it easy for customers to view their webinars. No special software is needed to be downloaded besides the Flash plug-in that almost all computer browsers support.
To view an IMSC workshop or tele-seminar you will need a specific url including the id # of the event, which would be provided by IMSC for that event. Visit that page for details and when the event is being broadcast.
If you have experienced a drop in audio or picture, this is almost always caused by a lack of memory or cpu resources on your computer. Try closing some open windows so that your computer can allocate more resources to the event. You can also try reloading the event page to reconnect.
If you are having other difficulties with the broadcast, please insure:
Do you have a fast enough connection to the internet? IMSC Workshops require a high speed connection. Dial up modems aren’t fast enough for video.
If video and sound are cutting out, that is most likely due to an internet speed connection issue.
If you are not getting any sound at all: Are your speakers turned on? Are you getting sound from other web sites? Can you hear music on your computer? Are your speakers plugged in and turned on? This is the #1 issue that most people over look.
If you are hearing an echo: Close all other browser tabs and windows, you have a second webinar open somewhere on your system that is creating the echo effect.
That your web browser is the latest version. Firefox – Internet Explorer
That your Flash plug-in is the latest version. Download Flash here
Almost all computer systems work just fine however if you have problems you want to be sure that your browser and Flash is up to date. iOS devices (iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone) can not run Flash and thus cannot view content in the IMSC Workshops. Please try again with a Flash capable device.
